Who We Are

We are ordinary people looking to join hands with folks in under-developed or developing communities. Our hope is to combine our skills and resources to help break the oppression caused by poverty, lack of infrastructure, sickness, etc. We have developed a "Center of Development (COD)" concept that involves a Health Center, a Business Development Center and a Microfinance Center. This concept is being developed with repeatability in mind. We envision each COD as not only being sustainable, but also profitable.

How Can You Help?

As we go about carrying out Profugo's vision, there is a need for individuals with a variety of skills & talents. Whether you are looking for a short-term project or can be involved long-term, please let us know!

Modern technology and the Internet have made it easy to collaborate irrespective of time or space. We welcome your participation, from wherever you are! However, we encourage you to start by becoming aware of the world that we live in. Our lives tend to revolve around our immediate family, community, career and work life. There is so much more happening in the world. The earthquakes, floods and draughts affecting various parts of the world could very well affect our neighborhoods at any time.

We invite you to invest monetarily into Profugo’s vision and programs. Your donations are tax-deductible, but we think that you will get much more out of your relationship with Profugo! We are hoping to start the first Center of Development (COD) in August of 2009. We need your support to make this happen!
