Envisioned Future By networking and collaborating with individuals and agencies worldwide, Profugo will quickly establish a number of “Centers of Development (CODs)” in developing and under-developed communities across a number of countries with differing socio-economic and political climates. CODs will benefit local populations by: - Generating employment opportunities
- Ensuring mental and physical health
- Providing the funds needed to grow local businesses
- Providing required business training and skills
- Bringing worldwide expertise in health, business and education
These “Centers of Development” will network with each other and share best-practices, methodologies and statistical (economics and health) data. This open sharing of information will help local authorities and governments make better policy decisions. Better policy decisions will further fuel economic growth in the target communities and improve health/wellness of the population. The feature that will stand-out within mature CODs will be the fact that they will be more than self-sustaining but, profit-generating. There will be knowledge transfer from initial leaders to successive generations that will keep the centers running and progressing at a healthy pace. |
