The Untours Foundation has provided Profugo with dolls for fundraising purposes. Called Dandles, these dolls were made in Sri Lanka following fair trade principles. The company that was formed to make these dolls had to be closed because of an unfortunate fire accident. They were sold at FAO Schwartz in New York City for $20.00 per Dandle.
Each Dandle has a character and a name! They come in two varieties, dolls and bears. Four types of dolls and six types of bears are available. Clothes that all Dandles wear are interchangeable!
These high quality Dandles dolls are not available in retail locations. For fundraising purposes, Profugo is offering the dolls for:
$10.00 each or $15.00 a pair!
